il_570xN.372494423_erc8What would you like us to know about you?
I’m one year away from earning an English “Writing Specialization” BA. I also draw digital art for commissioners and generate lots of short stories while managing my food jewelry shop. Balancing all of that has been a learning experience for sure, but I am thankfully seeing my brand grow daily.

What prompted you to open an Etsy Shop?il_570xN.496286243_b797

My jewelry originally showed (and still does) in the Etsy shop owned by my mother (EmsJewelry). I was her photographer and computer expert girl. After purchasing a DIY technique book, I started making miniature foods and training my mom to manage Ems while I was away at college. I really wanted the experience of having my own shop.

How did you come up with your shop name?
There’s this cozy bistro in my hometown. It’s called “Frost Me Sweet” and they have the tastiest tuna melts, lavender lemonade, and cupcakes. A lot of my earrings are cupcakes, and the name really stuck with what I imagined my shop to be like— stylish, sweet jewelry for girls who love cute treats as much as I do.

How would you describe your shop?
It’s the stop for colorful, cute, food earrings and unique accessories like scrunchies and bobby pins. There’s an attention to detail, a bright color palette, and a funky style. I love it when people tell me they thought they were looking at real food.

What inspires you?il_570xN.371145264_dneh
Color, street style, pop art, and kawaii culture. I’m an artsy person, so lots of things catch my eye with their potential.

Which item in your shop is your favorite to make/find?
That would be my pickle earrings! I started making them after a friend requested I make another friend a pickle charm with mustache on it.

If you were shipwrecked on a desert island, what are the 3 crafty must haves?
Providing I’m using them to survive… String to create weapons and a sturdy shelter, a good knife to whittle silverware and figurines, and a stationary set to chronicle my adventures and possible descent into madness without the comforts of modern society.
